Bryniau Pell Cottage

Bryniau Pell – Sleeps 6 +2

Hill Cottage – Sleeps 5+1

We have two lovely farm holiday cottages ideal for a staycation in Wales.  We are dog friendly with miles of walking from the door.

At one time Hill Cottage (sleeping five plus one) was the farmhouse for a separate farm, Blaenrhuddnant.  The farms were combined during the nineteenth century.  We have seen records of this Welsh long house as far back as 1640. This cottage offers traditional beams, flagstones, wood burner, roses around the door, views across to Pen-y-Fan, and it is surrounded by nature and animals, both wild and domesticated.

Bryniau Pell (sleeping six plus two infants) forms part of the stone barns at Aberhyddnant, but is completely separate to the other dwellings, with its own enclosed garden and parking.  Bryniau Pell has been converted from a cart shed and hay loft – traditionally an ideal place for the farm lads to court their true loves.

Each cottage has a collection of books, board games, toys, and a range of interesting publications on the area.

There are pretty enclosed gardens with tables and chairs and Bar-B-Q’s.  For children Bryniau Pell has an enclosed play area with a variety of equipment as well as various animals close by. There are streams, woods and fields to explore. A walk over the ‘rickety bridge’ leads to a ‘fairy dell’ an ideal site for camp fires and den building.

Both cottages have fresh spring water running from the taps.  Please use this to refill your bottles rather than buying more plastic.

Dogs & cats are welcome in Hill Cottage, but should be kept under control and off the furniture at all times.   Unfortunately we can not accept dogs during the lambing periods – for obvious reasons. There is a cost of £10/week/pet

Horses and ponies are also welcome.  Please check out the Riding, horses & stabling page for more information
